RUGBY WORLD CUP 2023 PRIZE DRAW: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY (“Prize Draw”)

Who can enter:

These Rugby World Cup 2023 terms and conditions, along with ITV's General Competition, Prize Draw, Vote and Poll Terms and Conditions, available here, (“General Terms”), apply to the Prize Draws (defined below).

The Prize Draws (defined below) are open to entrants who are: (a) resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man during the Prize Draws period(s) and prize fulfilment period; (b) aged 18 years or over; and (c) not employees of the Promoter, STV Group PLC, UCHL, or are an immediate family member of the same; and (d) not in any way or professionally connected with the Prize Draws.

Please note that entrants must have a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man phone number and address in order to be eligible to win the Prize Draws.

Opening/closing date & time:

There will be one (1) prize draw in relation to the programme Rugby World Cup 2023 (the “Main Prize Draw”) and one (1) associated prize draw for entrants to have the chance to win a bonus prize (the “Bonus Prize Draw”). The Main Prize Draw and Bonus Prize Draw together, the “Prize Draws”.

Main Prize Draw

· The Main Prize Draw opens for entries via SMS, post, and online via the www.itv.com/win or www.stv.tv/win websites (“Website”) on Friday 8 September 2023.

· The Main Prize Draw closes for entries via SMS and online (together, the “Paid Entry Routes”) at 10.00am on Monday 13 November 2023 and via post (“Postal Entry Route”) at 4.00pm on Thursday 16 November 2023.

Bonus Prize Draw

Subject to the Postal Requirements (defined in the ‘Post’ section below), all entries into the Main Prize Draw will receive a corresponding entry into the Bonus Prize Draw for the chance to win a bonus prize as follows:

· The Bonus Prize Draw opens on Friday 8 September 2023 and closes for entries: (i) via Paid Entry Routes at 11.00pm on Sunday 15 October 2023; and (ii) via the Postal Entry Route at 4.00pm on Wednesday 18 October 2023.

Please note that for the period from Wednesday 18 October 2023 at 4.00pm to Thursday 16 November 2023 at 4.00pm, there will be no Bonus Prize Draw. However, from Wednesday 18 October 2023 at 4.00pm there will be a different postal ID as shown in the ‘Post’ section below to enter into the Main Prize Draw only.

Winner selection & contact:

There will be two (2) draws in total as follows:

· Main Prize Draw: the draw will take place within (1) week of the closing date and time for all entries into the Main Prize Draw. Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries for Main Prize Draw will win £75,000 cash.

· Bonus Prize Draw: the draw will take place within twenty-four (24) hours of the closing date and time for all entries into Bonus Prize Draw. Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries for Bonus Prize Draw 1 will win a RWC Package (as defined below). The prize of the Bonus Prize Draw is time critical the winner will be contacted in accordance with Clause 5.2 of the ITV General Competition, Vote and Poll Terms. All entrants must be contactable after 4.00pm on Wednesday 18 October 2023 and for two (2) days after.

How to enter & cost of entry:

· SMS text – you will have the choice between the two (2) following options:

1. Standard entry: send a SMS text with the keywordWINNER or PRIZE to 62200. Each chargeable SMS text entry costs £2.00 plus one standard network rate message and this will give you one (1) entry into the Prize Draw (“Standard Entry”). Entrants who send a second SMS text entry using the same mobile number by the closing date and time will receive a third entry into the Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). For each subsequent entry from the same mobile number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers.

2. Bundle entry: send a SMS text with the keyword FIVE (or the following variations F1VE, FAVE, FVE, £5, 5) or OFFER to 62200. The chargeable SMS text entry costs £5.00 plus one standard network rate message and this will give you five (5) entries (“Bundle Entry”). This will replace the Standard Entry and will only be available on your first entrywithin the Prize Draw period. Following the Bundle Entry, for each subsequent entry from the same mobile number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). This therefore works as a ‘buy one entry get one entry free’ offer.

If you choose the Standard Entry as described in paragraph 1 above, you may make up to fifteen (15) Standard Entries in total per phone number. If you choose the Bundle Entry, as described in paragraph 2 above, you may make up to thirteen (13) entries in total (including one (1) Bundle Entry and up to twelve (12) additional Standard Entries) per phone number.

Please note that SMS entries without the keyword or where the keyword is misspelt will still be counted and charged (where applicable). If you do not want to receive marketing texts about similar products and services, please add NO INFO at the end of your text entry.

· Online - go to the Website to enter via the following routes (as available on the Website):

o Entry Credits: any Entry Credits won through a Winsday Prize Draw which are sitting in your itv.com/win account will be automatically used to enter this Prize Draw before any other online paid entry routes are available to you (unless you are entering via Rich Communications Services (RCS)).

o Direct to Mobile Billing: follow the instructions on the Website to charge the entry costs to your mobile phone bill. Direct to Mobile Billing may only be available for certain mobile networks – for details see the Website.

o Paypal: follow the instructions on the Website.

o Apple Pay: follow the instructions on the Website.

o Debit Card: follow the instructions on the Website to charge the entry costs to your debit card. Please note that use of a debit card may incur charges from your provider.

o Open Banking: follow the instructions on the Website to deduct your entry costs directly from your chosen bank account.

A single entry costs £2.00. Paid and free entry bundles may be offered from time to time as stated on the Website.

By entering online, you will also receive one (1) ticket to participate in the “Winsday” Prize Draw for every one (1) paid entry.

Each Winsday Prize Draw opens at 1.00 a.m each Wednesday and closes at 12:59 a.m the following Wednesday. The ticket generated from entering this Prize Draw will be automatically entered into Winsday draw that is live at the time of your entry. There is a cap of thirty (30) paid entries across all online platforms (“Cap”). Any Entry Credit(s) used in this Prize Draw will also contribute to the Cap.

All entries into the Main Prize Draw made via the Paid Entry Routes will automatically be entered into the Bonus Prize Draw for the chance to win a bonus prize, as set out in the ‘opening/closing date & time’ section above.

For entries made via the Postal Entry Route to qualify for the Bonus Prize Draw, you must add the correct postal ID (‘RB 01’), as shown in the ‘post’ section above) and your postal entry must be received during the Bonus Prize Draw period as set out in the ‘opening/closing date & time’ section above (“Postal Requirements”). Postal entries that do not meet the Postal Requirements will not be included in the Bonus Prize Draw, but will still be entered into the Main Prize Draw provided that these are received within the Main Prize Draw opening and closing times as shown above. By way of example only, if your postal entry includes the postal ID ‘RB 01’ and your entry is received after 4.00pm on Wednesday 18 October 2023 but before 4.00pm on Thursday 16 November 2023, your postal entry will not be included in the Bonus Prize Draw however, you will still be entered into the Main Prize Draw. Prize:

There are two (2) prizes consisting of: (i) £75,000 cash; and (ii) a Rugby World Cup package (‘RWC Package”).

(i) £75,000 cash – Main Prize Draw

The winner of the Main Prize Draw will win £75,000 (seventy-five thousand pounds) made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only.

(ii) A RWC Package – Bonus Prize Draw

The prize for the winner of the Bonus Prize Draw consists of Rugby World Cup package including the following:

o four (4) tickets for the winner and up to three (3) adult companion(s) to attend the Rugby World Cup 2023 final game scheduled on Saturday 28 October 2023 (as shown in the match schedule here) at the Stade de France, Saint-Denis in Paris (France),

(“RWC Tickets”);

o accommodation for three (3) nights on a bed and breakfast basis based on four (4) people sharing two (2) double or twin rooms (subject to availability);

o standard (economy) return Eurostar tickets from London Saint Pancras to Paris Gare du Nord or return economy flights from a major international airport in London to Paris Charles De Gaulle airport (at PFL’s discretion) on the following dates (flexible timings will be offered, subject to availability):

§ inbound journey on 27 October 2023; and

§ outbound journey on 30 October 2023;

o one (1) item of hand luggage per person;

o standard travel insurance covering health issues arising during travel and lost baggage. Please note that it is the responsibility winner and/or their companion(s) to cover any additional costs relating to obtaining cover for any pre-existing medical condition and for any additional costs as may be specified where the winner and/or their companions are aged 70 or over,

(together, “Accommodation and Transportation”); and

o £2,000 (two thousand pounds) cash, made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only (“Spending Money”).

It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they and their companion(s) are available to take the prize on the relevant dates.

Please note that the winner will need a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes.

It is the responsibility of the winner to:

· ensure that they and their companion(s) hold a current and valid passport and any other travel documentation required for travel and entry to France. Passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six (6) months on the date of departure from the UK when taking up the prize;

· inform PFL of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companion when taking up the prize; and

· adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

The winner and their companion(s) acknowledge that in the event that the Rugby World Cup final game does not take place as specified for any reason, the Promoter does not accept responsibility in these circumstances and no alternative prize will be provided.

The prize excludes, without limitation, any transportation in the UK or in France (other than specified above), meals and drinks, excursions, attractions, treatments and car hire.

The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative will be offered. Once booked, the prize cannot be amended.

Please note that the winner and their companion(s) will be bound by the terms and conditions applicable to the issue and use of the RWC Tickets from time to time as available here (or such other webpage as determined by Rugby World Cup Limited (“RWCL”) from time to time), the tournament organiser (Federation Française de Rugby 2023 (“FFR2023”)) and the applicable venue owner or operator rules and regulations to access the Rugby World Cup venue and any other areas associated with Rugby World Cup (including any terms of accreditation determined by RWCL). Further the winner and their companion(s) acknowledge that they may be required to enter into a direct acknowledgement and/or agreement with World Rugby Limited, RWCL and/or FFR2023 concerning use of the RWC Tickets and confirm acceptance and compliance with RWC Tickets terms and conditions prior to receiving the prize.

Please note that the winner and their companion(s) must not, while using the RWC Tickets, display or publicise any political slogans or homophobic language, images of a lewd or explicitly sexual nature, images containing logos of competitors and overt brand sponsorship or anything else deemed to ambush marketing or an abuse of the Rugby World Cup, content which is defamatory, obscene, illegal, vulgar, offensive or otherwise unsuitable or infringes others’ rights (including intellectual property rights) or reflects negatively upon any of RWCL or the Rugby World Cup. Each entrant agrees and acknowledges that any breach of this will cause significant damage and loss to RWCL.

The Promoter may pass personal information relating the winner to RWCL and/or FFR2023 (and any of their service providers or agents) for the purposes of monitoring the distribution and use of the RWC Tickets and related experiences and, in the event of a suspect breach of any terms and conditions, rules or regulations or RWCL and/or FFR2023 relating to the use of such tickets and/or experiences, investigating and taking action against the winner and/or their companion(s). The winner’s data will be processed by RWCL and/or FFR2023 (and any of their service providers or agents) according to their respective privacy policies.

This Prize Draw is run by the Promoter with the permission of RWCL. Accordingly the Promoter is responsible for the operation of and all matters and concerns relating to the Prize Draw, not RWCL or any other persons involved in staging of Rugby World Cup 2023 (including FFR2023) and World Rugby Limited (formerly the International Rugby Board), all of whom shall not be responsible for or liable to entrants in any way whatsoever in connection with the administration of the Prize Draw (other than fulfilling the prize).
