Hey all
Had some great news that my mortgage was approved today and the valuation was already completed online with Halifax.
Background - LTV 85% £18k deposit (total mortgage remaining amount £103,000)
Credit rating- fair with defaults approx 3yrs 10months ago and missed payments up until last Dec but no debt as all 0 balances and closed accounts.
I have only now paid the search fees to the solicitor as I was dubious of handing over cash without knowing if I had been accepted.
I have now also signed all their documents online, but what happens next?
I'm buying privately from our landlord so wondering what I need to be looking out for?
Many thanks

Once the offer is issued the solicitor completes the legal work;-
contract preparation
searches
enquiries
collect deposit from you
