A big thank you to this board

I've only just signed up to the forum, but I've been a lurker since 2020 when I finally dug my head out of the sand after getting into horrific debt in my early 20s. The debt-free wannabe board and the debt-free diaries were incredibly helpful in showing me that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and I came here every day for about the first six months of my journey. I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has had the courage to post their journey on here. I've now been debt free for 18 months and my credit files are starting to recover. I have just over a year to go until my default falls off my credit reports (and tbh I was very lucky to only get one default), and today for the first time I was successful in getting a "good" credit card, having previously only been eligible for "bad credit" credit cards. I absolutely couldn't have done it without the motivation that all your posts gave me.

That's completely brilliant @redrosebud and it's fab to know that the forum is helping people who don't even post, so thank you for posting about it.
