Have you purchased clothing or footwear that came with a lifetime guarantee? Would you recommend? Do you feel you saved money in the long run?

Ish, I bought my Husband Dr Martens boots for life. Well before they came to the end of life they stopped the scheme. When they are unusable he can get £180 I think towards another pair.
After this experience I wouldn't buy with this in mind again.
