Excessive Verification steps wanted by Valued Opinions

I have just sent a email to Valued Opinions complaining about their excessive verification steps to redeem a £10 voucher.
First of all I verified myself using my mobile phone number. Now they want a photo of my driving licence and a selfie! That's ridiculous.
I would rather close my account and lose the money.
Anybody else had a similar experience?

I've just redeemed some and it was the normal process, not what they've asked you. Although it does mention on the site about them doing that verification.

The same happened with me several weeks ago, even though I have been a member of their panel for years.

Like yourself, I sent an email and they verified the account without me having to submit personal information which they have had since initially becoming a member.

Unfortunately for me they are refusing to budge. Therefore I am closing the account and writing off the £18.36 they owe me. Quite disappointing.

I closed my account too and lost £10 but not prepared to upload personal documents and information to some random verification company.

Branded surveys also ask for photoraphic identification, a step too far I think.
