As regards the 10% off coupon on achieving monthly target: am I right that alcohol purchases count towards achieving this but DON'T count when using it?!!
Sorry - just a quickie.

It says exactly that on the app... " you cannot redeem coupon on alcohol"1

If alcohol was not included in achieving a £250 monthly spend at Lidl we would not be able to reach that total and qualify for the subsequent 10% shop. We tend to buy our alcohol on the last shop of the month but only enough to get just over the £250 monthly hurdle. The first shop of the new month is a giant one, fruit and veg for one week plus all the non perishable stuff needed for that month and usually no alcohol, coming to about £170 giving a 10% discount of £17. You also get a double discount on the App coupon items activated the week of the giant shop. For a plan like this you need lots of storage space. Then the merry go round begins for another month!

Excellent strategy... although Lidl might be upping the nation's drink intake!0
