With the top rates at their highest for more than a decade, it's important to check your savings are earning as much interest as they can – and if not, move them (see Top savings accounts for the current best buys).
Yet we know switching savings isn't everyone's top priority. So when was the last time you moved your cash into a higher-paying account?

I was surprised that the most recent option was "In the last three months" and not a more realistic "in the last month" as rates have changed a lot recently thanks to the likes of Tandem, Cahoot, Santander.Fashion on a ration 2024 66/66 coupons remaining

A week ago I would have had to say over a year ago but the MSE weekly email had NS&I 6.2% offer so I took advantage of that a couple of days ago. Thanks MSE.0

I don't have much understanding about where to invest in first place.0

Despite how high rates are at the minute, I have moved my savings away from traditional savings accounts into the S&P500. I have found that that the stock grows at a much faster rate than a savings account and is the safest bet on the stock market.0
