Hello  wondered if anyone can shed a light on what i want , before i look for mortgage advisor as the one i employed sort of 14 years ago , cant reach any more
My residential property bought 2010 and my buy to let 2013 both are same size and type in 2 roads next to each other , and both are on capital payments
How hard is for me to move in and live to the buy to let , and convert my residential to buy to let ?
january i went on 5 year fixed on both of them , and my circumstances havent changed...simply the buy to let property got better garden and easier to get to the garage , helpful for my van. .
many thanks

You can't normally live in your own buy to let, so you'd need to change the mortgages on both properties - are the mortgages with the same lender?3

Ask the residential lender for consent to let and the BTL lender for permission to reside.
I'd expect in a worst case, you'll have to remortage the BTL to a residential mortgage.I am a mortgage broker.
