Halifax full application

Good morning all
I have recently obtained 2 agreements in principles from 2 separate brokers for Halifax as i dont trust them (trust issues) so the fact they both found halifax im guessing is good news but am after some advice.
At AIP stage would a soft search show everything on my credit report so any checks would of been done prior to this?
I have 2 defaults back 3yrs and 10months ago which has been settled back then, would this of already been considered?
Also if I missed a payment last August but the account is now up to date and settled how will this impact my full application?
I owe no debt and all my accounts are closed/settled or hold 0 balances.
Any advice would be helpful as I'm about to run a full application with Halifax
Thanks

Have you told the broker about your adverse credit history? This will allow them to recommend a suitable product.0

If you are prepared to Trust what I am saying - Halifax applications can sometimes fail credit score on full application following a pass on DIP. It is rare, but does happen.
Of course, a good way to fail score is to have your details submitted twice, at the same time, by two Brokers. I suspect neither Broker is aware of what you are doing.I am a Mortgage Broker

Hiya
I wont be doing full application with both. Just one.
Just asking outloud that if 2 brokers have identified the same lender then would you consider that as good news?
According the the codirector of the brokerage I am dealing with he has stated that Halifax having offered 85% LTV based off my credit history and are happy to proceed and stated that if I had perfect history it be more like 95% LTV.
Would you consider this positive?0 -
