Morning all. The bellowing bull is back. I'm wide awake.

Got back to sleep for a little bit as the bull stopped bellowing and just rumbled instead, think a sound like heavy snoring. 😂
Hanging out the washing yesterday was a risk which almost paid off, there was one shower, I decided to not bother bringing it all in and the sun came back out. I didn't want wet washing and wet me. The rest of the day was spent in doing admin-type stuff and trying to sort out a problem caused by a building society. Happily, it got sorted eventually.Today looks dull outside, I may go view some art.Thinking about our poorlies. Happy Sunday to all.12 -
Morning everyone and thank you for starting us off Gers
Sun is shining here atm, but it's much cooler.
I have no plans for today. Happy Bank Holiday Everyone.11 -
Good morning, thank s for starting Gers, glad the bull has settled down.
It's a fine start here, but I think showers are expected.
Yesterday was an ok day, and we were out last night with Dil's family in Newcastle.
We were at a pizza restaurant where the pizzas were gigantic, but fortunately you could order by the slice, which dh and I did.
We had a great night, it was good to see everyone. It wasn't a late night, not for us anyway. Some of the younger members of the party were talking about going on somewhere else, but we just went for our bus and were home by 9.30.
Nothing in particular planned for today.
Hoping everyone has a good day today, thinking of our poorly people.
Take care folks.

Morning all
We're back from Whitby Folk Week, where we had a super time, met lots of people we hadn't seen for a few years but I'm sure the hills have got bigger! We had sunny weather all week but then dreadful rain on the 5 hr drive home but never mind. The third load of washing is in the machine and that should be it for now.
I'm putting together a bit of a shopping list for later this morning. I did pop on the scales earlier and it wasn't too bad but I'd like to lose another half a stone so will concentrate on low carb eating for the next few weeks, as I know it works for me. I've looked at the Blood Sugar Diet book again, to get food ideas, and will try to incorporate some of their recipes. It will be some sort of meat and lots of veg for dinner today.
We have about 12 courgettes growing in the garden but they really aren't very big. Also need to do a cull around the plum tree as a lot have fallen to the ground whilst we've been away and then they get trodden on and it all gets rather messy.
Hope everyone is keeping well. Have a super Sunday.

Morning All
Sunshine again this morning, the bedding is in the WM, hopefully I can put it back on later so it will smell lovely and fresh. All yesterday's washing has been put away, I even did the ironing!
I think I would be having that bull for dinner Gers, enjoy looking at the art.
Sounds like you had a good holiday WL.
Glad you had a good meal and catch up Scarlet.
Pool swim this morning although it's so lovely out I wish I was going to the Loch. Hoping to sit out in the garden later if the sun stays out.
DD called in yesterday for a coffee after her haircut and I asked her to help me hang up the wedding dress that has been sat in a box for a couple of months - cue a big wardrobe cull so have more of that to do. 2 bags for the CS so far and some for the bin. She's taking the dress for an alteration on Friday so will have to pack it all up again in the box!
Hope you all have a happy and peaceful Sunday, take care. XX

Morning all, we have dry weather this morning but showers are due later. I played the hokey cokey a couple of times with the bedding yesterday but finally got it dried. I left the duvet cover hanging over the airer last night as it's thicker and I wanted to make sure it was aired before I put it away today.
We're waiting for our new waste water container to arrive today and also Dad's coming over for lunch and tea so I hope he's got his happy head on !
Gers I think I would have to have a serious word with that bull !
Scarlet glad you had a good time.
WLady nice to see you back.
Camelot I need to cull my wardrobe too, are you available ?
Take care all hugs to those in need.

Morning all
Bright sunny day here I have a wash on the go and it can be hung out once it’s done. The lawn is going to need a cut today it’s growing so quickly atm I think it’s all the rain we have had.
DD is off to work on a late shift so just OH and I here for dinner we may bbq as it’s such a nice day, we will get the dogs out later for a good walk.
OH did a few jobs yesterday such as hanging pictures and putting new cupboard latches on, we are very nearly back to normal now just a mantle to be made and hung, I bought a lovely piece of reclaimed oak and it will need a little work before hanging.
Have good days all and take care xx9 -
Afternoon all...one of thos edays yesterday, went out for lunch with a friend, one who was supposed ot be joining, her dog was unwell, so unwell it had ot be put to sleep, so she is in bits and didn't join obviously. Weather was sunny while we were eating, we left the pub, absolutely hammered it down. 've washed about 70 quattro stagioni jars to take with us [still the same amount to wash again] and packed them in newspaper in trays. I found my sister some new [old] kitchen chairs of a type she can live with [her current ones are 40 plus years old and one of them broke when I was there completely, the rest are wobbly and another onne has a broken strut so it's a bit of lottery whether you can stay sitting on chair rather than the floor]. Also fetching a yoghurt make thing later for free. I'm cat sitting next week so I'm trying to fit in tidying the garden and keeping up with that with organising what stuff I'm taking with me. I'm going to need some tools because I want to make some new shutters, the old ones weigh nothing but sawdust and woodworm. And I have to get some cat food and treats...I haven't done anything yet and mentally in knackeredSo take care all, I'll see you in the morning..Shampoo? No thanks, I'll have real poo...10

Remember back in our much younger days when Sundays were boring, nothing to do, nowhere to go? Now that the world is at my feet I find that intertia creeps (song) into my Sundays and takes me back to those days.I haven't gone to see any art, I really want glass, ceramics and textiles so have done a bit of checking out on the brochure and will do that tomorrow. There's an over-abundance of paintings, I have enough paintings to open my own gallery as my late DM was a well established artist. All that, along with many other cherished pieces given to me by friends, I have more than enough for my walls. The herd of cows, along with their bolshie leader, have moved themselves back up to the furtherest reaches of the huge field so peace reigns again. My particular form of inertia is watching Good Omens 2. Sorry I'm not being more productive!6
