Have we reached peak annuity rates?

Just a thought on deffered annuities and it's far from perfect due it may pay out too early for some and also tangles with the MPAA system, now 10K PA, but it was 4K PA(150% difference!) and I'll guess they tinker with this.
Idea is getting a fixed annuity of like 10% fixed at age 55 or similar to capture todays rates and altho income very modest in the early years, way down the road income gets nice and heavy.
To also note, if protection taken out and death occurs early doors, it will spill some value back to others maybe.
