Income Tax question

in Cutting tax
My wife and I are Ltd Co directors, I set the business up a few years ago and in the 22-23 tax year my wife started helping out with invoicing and admin. I decided to transfer a small number of shares over to her for this.
She received PAYE income from the NHS and then dividend income from the shares. The dividend income was below the level required to submit self-assessment but still high enough that it needed to be reported to HMRC as extra income. We made a mistake and over reported the income figure. We have tried time and again to get this changed but it doesn't seem to be possible online and every department you speak to at HMRC says not their problem.
Any advice?

Has your wife received either a P800 or PA302 calculation with the dividend income included?
And how did you over report it?0
