Mortgage Dependants Calculation for shared custody

Do any mortgage providers take account of the ratio of care in the calculation of dependants for divorced coparents.
For example my 2 children live with me 60% and with their dad 40% so I feel that it should be reflected in the calculation of the financial impact of dependents. Do providers always assume all dependents live 100% with both parents?

I once had a couple who had 2 kids they had 50/50. The lender was happy for me to put 1 kid down. But that was the exception rather than the rule.
I suppose the general rule is whoever is in receipt of the child benefit and/or maintenance is the one who is down as having the dependents.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
