New mortgage offer and changing car

Hey! So I have completed and signed a new mortgage offer with Halifax and it’s due to start on Nov 1st.
unfortunately my pcp is up on its car but had a fab offer on a lease which actually saves me money. My question is, will this affect anything with my mortgage offer if I change cars/new credit searches? I have good credit score etc, so hoping not.

Possibly. Any changes to your credit profile including hard searches and new accounts can have an impact.

Thanks for your reply. Could the pull the offer even though affordability is even better (new car cheaper) and also we have around 75% LTV at the moment?0

Yes. This about how Halifax scores you and how changes can impact your acceptability. It may be totally unlikely but we recently had such a case where a new loan was taken between offer and completion and ended up unable to proceed as profile was negatively impacted.I am a mortgage broker.
