Olive oil stain removal

I have been putting olive oil in my ear to soften ear wax. One night I got some on my bed sheet. I did not notice it till after I washed the sheet and put it back on the bed. I now have a circular stain about 5 inches in diameter.
All the advice I read is treat oil stains before washing. Any suggestions on how to treat it post washing please. The washing must have made it spread as the wasn't that much in my ear. Thanks

Vanish works on oil stains. Use the gel in the squeezy bottle and leave it on for 5-10 minutes before washing. Goodness knows what's in it because it makes a hole if you leave it on for too long but I figure it's better than throwing away clothes. It works even if the garment has already been washed.Credit card 1891

A few drops of neat washing up liquid on the stain does much the same thing if you don't have Vanish.Be kind to others and to yourself too.4

A dishwasher tablet in with the wash. My go to for all stains.3

I always use washing up liquid on oily marks. What you are after is something that breaks down the oil - and that is just what washing up liquid is designed to do.3

You could try ironing between brown paper bags and see if that lifts any of it but really, as above, you ned ot put washing liquid or a paste made of washing pwder or water or liquid washing stuff on it, scrub it in a bit, wash again and it should come out.
