It's a bit dull here atm
I am going shopping this morning with my neighbour, but nothing else planned.
Hope everyone has a good Tuesday. xx10 -
morning folks and greetings from up in Nidderdale. Sunny at the moment but will it last!
Sausage finger alert I am rubbish at posting on my phone.
I did a blackberry recce yesterday but still a lot to ripen. Managed to pick a few which were lovely. Early September is the best time hereabouts. I'll have another scout round today.
Have a good day folks if you can and HUGS for all in need. Take care be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"12 -
Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC.
It's sunny here with a coolish breeze but will probably warm up, yesterday was hot.
Dh is a little bit better, still with a horrible cough, but I don't think he has Covid.
He didn't do much yesterday but he doesn't have to, there's no hurry for anything.
Hope you and Sparkle have a good week away TA. Talking of sea sickness, we once had a nightmare ferry journey to Jersey, I've never felt so ill.
Coxy, sorry to hear you had a bad night, but your Dh stumbling around in the small hours made me laugh! ( sorry)
Rosy, hope you had a lovely day yesterday, and Bella, when you went to the zoo.
DP1 your dg D is a treasure.
There were other people I was going to mention, sorry, I know I've missed people out.
Anyway, hope everyone has a good day, take care folks.

Morning all and thanks for the start nmlc x
Glad I made you laugh @ScarletRibbons - DH was being very well behaved last night and cooked a delicious beef stroganoff! I'll say it again - men!
WFH today (hurrah) and I've had another charity Bay of E sale. Will post at lunchtime as long as they have paid me. Dinner tonight is an easy mozzarella, chilli and tomato pasta. We are trying to eat veggie at least once a week now. There's washing to do and hopefully line dry too.
Have a good day everyone,

Morning all
Its a bit dull and overcast here this morning but the sun is due out later, I have three people coming today and they want to go to a local town for a walk around the shops and have a picnic lunch somewhere, we are treating ourselves to a sandwich from a really good bakery and possibly a slice of cake 😃
Ive got to give the rude one a months notice today 😳 I’m just trying to think of a nice way to say it, I will still have her on Mondays but not Tuesday I’m hoping it will make the group run smoother without her.
Dinner tonight will be some filled pasta and salad I will make a garlic bread to go with it. I have put a wash on this morning which can be hung on the line.
Have good day’s all and take care xx11 -
Morning, haven't totally caught up yet, will do that later. I had to take my car for an MOT yesterday, it did pass but it took me out of the house for nine hours. It usually takes about an hour to get there but this time the traffic was terrible, there was a road closure on one of the towns on the way, so the only road out was closed and I had to go magical mystery tour with very badly signposted diversions. I was pooped when I got home. Spent the evening booking places for us to stay overnight in France and booking all the other stuff that you have to to travel. We're going in September but I won't have a lot of time to organise because I'm cat sitting all next week, have the weekend off to organise, then we're off on the Monday.I have a list of things to do this week too. So apologies in advance for sporadic posting. We did manage to get rid of some stuff from my sisters house so at least the bathroom is all her stuff now, but we're still failing on all the other stuff. I cut some wood for her, did a bit of weeding, sorted her car battery and did a couple of tip runs. I also found myself a galvanised bath in the dump so I've got that for use in the garden. OH didnt keep an eye on the garden so there were quite a few large courgettes to pick and a bigger than my arm tromboncino or two so I'll take them to the community fridge this morning on the way to get my hair cut.Coxy, hope your dad is getting treatment now.And at least he cooks, mine can't even manage toast most of the time. Izzy, are you marking a claendar as well? TA, enjoy the van, glad sparkle is liking her new food. Scarlet, glad your OH is better. Nanny, hope your bp is sorted soon..Ruby, easy, just say you have different commitments..or just don't explain, just say you won't be able to do it sorry. dp1, glad to see your cab lady is on the ball [ not that they ever aren't] . Take care all, have nice holidays or get well soon for the non postersNon me fac calcitrare tuum culi10

DGs J has arrived to decorate the downstairs cloakroom. I emptied out coats/ mirror etc ready for him when I got up. It is pale lemon walls now and I have bought duck egg emulsion for him to use. It is half tiled and the ceiling doesn't need doing.

Morning everyone
Still windy here but it's meant to settle down after today - fingers crossed! At least it gets the washing dry.
I enjoyed Barbie yesterday - our little cinema was quite busy - some had dressed in pink. afterwards I collected my prescription and got some bits I needed in Savers. Then I had a look in the Red Cross shop which was having a sale - I got 2 dresses and 3 T shirts for little one for just £3.50 - age 4-5 so they'll fit her next summer.
Nothing I liked for myself.
I'm going for lunch with a friend from work which will be nice. Some jobs to do first - I'm busy cleaning all my pictures to go back up, they all have dead cornflies in them Yesterday I got all the living room ones put back up - they are all copies of Lowrey paintings my dad painted.
Taff - the letter arrived yesterday for me to sign - she's done a really good job of explaining things - I'll post it this afternoon.
TA - enjoy your time at the caravan
Better get on - hope everyone has a good day today x

Morning all, bit of a dull one here today.I had a lovely time at RHS Bridgewater yesterday. My friend is a member & can take a guest in for free. Well worth a visit Coxy if you're ever up in the NW. There are still large areas that are going to be transformed. The car park was very busy but once inside there was plenty of space to meander. I think it was so busy because they were opening a Chinese pavilion garden section- they had a giant dragon meandering up the path to it.I think I liked the walled kitchen garden section best with lots of varieties of produce - some v. large courgettes Taff, and tomatoes, leeks, huge onions, squash, apples pears you name it, it was there.Flowers were glorious too. We ate our salads sat on a quiet bench but did venture to the food hall/cafe & gift shop before we left and treated ourselves to a coffee & sat outside on the decking next to a lake. Lots of people were eating and there were swarms of wasps aroundMuch talking ensued, we haven't seen each other for a couple of months. She also brought me an early birthday present of some autumn plants and a trough to put them in, which I did last evening, lovely. A quick tea of burgers, need to take something out for tea. I've ordered a meat pack from the butchers to collect tomorrow.Hugs to all, have a good day x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
