Sickly and predictable :)

Hi one and all

I would like to take this opportunity to just mention for a while the difference this site has made to my life. 10 months ago I was struggling to make ends meet and came upon this site. I followed a certain persons diary ( opposite to a moral devil :rotfl: ) and realised I was not alone and started lurking big time. Since then I have commenced a Dmp thanks to the DMP support thread and have stopped smoking(Got my first cold for 2 years at the moment:confused: ). I have discovered cashback sites and have even had a dibble in a casino site ( Many thanks for that,You know who you are ;) ). My life is in order and have nothing but positive thoughts for 2008. I expect there will be a few of these threads around shortly but I would just like to thank each and everyone of you on this site personnally and thank you for saving me and my family from ,what was,an uncertain future (Told you it was sickly :rotfl: )

May I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous and DFW New year

Many thanks

ym

Well done YM you're doing very well. I always like reading your posts. I don't post very often but I'm getting braver all the time, but I'm here everyday and this site has completely changed my life around too so I know what you mean. I can't believe how blinkered I used to be. Much wiser now :A. My debt free date is 2012 - roughly on my 50th birthday  (or hopefully before that).

well done to both of you - that 'first post' is always the most difficult. :T :T

YM - you've traded one 'addiction' for another. :rotfl: :rotfl:
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

  • You too, YellowMonkey!!! I've went from £34k of debt to £4k in 18 months and a large part of it has been down to sites like this. Even when debt is grinding me down, there's always someone on the freebies board with a free film preview offer I can go to cheer myself up!
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
