Why is my graded pay different each month

speaking on behalf of my friend, she has got paid different each month and her graded pay is different each month. is there a reason why this is happening ?

What is 'graded pay' in this context? An obvious question is does she work the same number of hours each month?0

My pay varies monthly by about 20p - how much of a difference are we talking here?0 -

Has she looked at her payslips? Has she asked her employer?
