Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC, hope work is ok.
It's fine and dry here, as was yesterday.
Dh was a bit better yesterday, he was eating a bit. He'll probably be feeling better still today. He has a terrible cough and cold though.
I just pottered yesterday, tidied the garden and did the usual jobs around the house.
Not much planned for today - I often visit an old lady on Mondays, an old friend who lives nearby, but I won't today. I thought I'd better not in case Dh has Covid, don't want to pass it on. She's frail already, with asthma and heart trouble.
Hope everyone has a good day today, take care folks.11 -
Morning All
Drizzly this morning with a bit of a breeze, yesterday was very windy with some sunshine, perfect drying day!
I had a good swim yesterday and got the shopping done, pottered about and did quite a few odd little jobs. Sadly no curtain pole up yet - maybe this week some time.
Glad your DH is feeling better Scarlet, hope you don't catch whatever it is.
Enjoy your caravan visit TA.
Thinking of those with worries or not feeling too good.
Off to work then a visit to the allotment to see if everything has survived the storm.
Happy Monday! Take care. XX11 -

Morning folks and thanks NMLC. A lovely start here and finally that dratted wind looks to have moved on to pastures new.
I am not leaving for the 'van until this afternoon so clothes and Sparkle's stuff to pack this morning and fridge/freezer stuff this afternoon. Non-perishable food bits already packed. After the disappointment of the ready meals I took last time I have made my own this time, they are waiting in the freezer till the last minute.
GERS your mention of the Hook of Holland took me back many years. We were on a ladies w/e trip to Sweden and our ferry hit Force 10 gales. We had to drop anchor all night and I have never been so ill in my life! Nor have I ever seen so many people seasick at any one time! At the time they were filming the tv series Triangle on the ferry and that had to be stopped too as all the cast and crew were all ill. By the time we eventually got to Sweden we should have been on our way back! A trip to remember!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for the poorlies and poorly loved ones. Good to hear MR SR is on the mend slowly. Take care all and be safe xx

Morning everyone and thank you for starting us off nmlc
Looks like being another sunny day here.
The weeds are growing at a fast rate, so I think it's time to get in the garden.
Hope everyone has a good Monday xx9 -
Morning all
Looks to be a nice day the sun is due out later but not too hot which is perfect. Two ladies coming today and I will see what they fancy doing there is a week long festival in a local town so I will see if they want to go there.
Just taken some salmon out for dinner tonight, DD is working so just OH and I here so salmon and new potatoes with some veg. I put a wash on last night so that can be hung on the line this morning.
We got the curtain poles up Saturday and hung the curtains, and DD and I put together a flat pack cupboard where the hoover will live, I just need OH to put the shelf in, I want the shelf higher than the holes they put in so he will drill some new holes to fit it and one for the charging cable, the hoover can then be charged while it’s in the cupboard.
TA I hope you enjoy your week away xxx
Have good days all and take care xx10 -
Morning everyone, I've just had my post disappear, been looking for it to add something else and it's not here grr, AND I mentioned everyone who posted so far. Anyway sorry not got time to do it all again so will just wish you all well, I'm being collected by my old school friend and we are going to visit RHS Bridgewater so that should be nice. In true MS fashion we are taking our own lunch, her DB went last week & said there were long queues for food.Take care all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Morning everyone I’ve got a line of washing out I need to get some fish food at the pet shop I will pop up in a minute it’s nice and bright I’m not at work until 12 already looking forward to a long weekend I’ve made my mind up I’m going to book a trip away with my local bus company it’s not until October it’s to Harrogate shopping it will be a look out and I might get a few Xmas presents there’s a one in November to Manchester but because I’m on my own I’m a bit worried I will get lost I might ask today when I ring how far away the buses are I’ve been years ago it was very busy and daunting there was a few of us went who I worked with at the time and we just went to the markets and back to the hotel but we had to keep asking people the way you have to remember I’m a woolly back I’m only used to fields I will see but I will have to get used to going places when I retire in March and get my bus pass I’m adamant I’m not sitting in the house all the time and hubby won’t go anywhere he’s quite happy to sit in front of the television he is in for a shock . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing10

Morning everyone
Sunny here but very windy again. I'm expecting the painter this morning - he'll be finished this week. Had a lovely afternoon with little one yesterday while DD was packing. She played with her playdoh for ages while I put some more pictures up in the kitchen - with her advice as to what went where. Then we played some games...she kept beating me at snap!
They're away this morning until Friday so I've got a quiet week...I've arranged to go out with friends a couple of times though.
This afternoon I'm stewarding at our local cinema for Barbie - I'm looking forward to it.
Izzy - if I can manage going to places myself you will too. You can put a map on your phone from one place to another...though I admit I sometimes still have to ask someone.
Bella - pleased you enjoyed the zoo - I'm looking forward to going next week.
Right, I'd better move - I'm going to get some more pictures cleaned and put back up in the living room.
Hope everyone has a good day today x12
