Instagram account hacked

Be warned if you see anything on my instagram...My instagram account has been hacked and they have changed the email address, so can't log in to change it back! Anyone know how to resolve, as the link I got frm the genuince security email account at instagranm goes to a dead page and am going round in circles!

Please do, I can see they have posted some crypto rubbish already so can only apologise to anyone. Best not to tag me on that account for now me thinks. Will be gutted if I win something already entered though, so if anyone spits anything I'd appreciate a message x

Yep, trouble is they changed email then phone number so anything I find just sends me round in circles. Have created a new account and reported the old one through that as pretending to be me, soothe hope is that eventually someone might do something but given what others say am not holding my breath!

Hi, I've just done a search for help with my Instagram account as I got a message last Wednesday on WhatsApp and via Facebook meta saying my account has been hacked and to reset my password which I did but the following day the same thing happened but this time ive left it but now get a situation where I'm trying to review all the details but I'm going round and round in circles. Can you help or maybe tell me what you did to resolve the situation please

I know its late advice but I would recommend EVERYONE turn on two factor authenticator on instagram/meta. Only a couple of days ago someone tried to log into my insta and I was notified via an authenticator code being WhatsApp'd to me.

I also got told today to change my password as I may have been involved in a data breach. Insta doesnt feel overly secure at the moment so the more protection around your account the better.
