Non-responding DCA

(Hope I am posting in the correct place).
A few months ago I received a debt letter threatening County Court action ASAP from Moriarty Law for a debt I didn't notice?! I've recently started paying off debts I racked up as a silly youngster, but this isn't one I know.
I got onto live chat and asked them to explain what it was for, and was given very vague responses, with dates over 6 years old - which I challenged, to be told that it actually became a default 3-4 years ago.
Again, this rings no bells, so I've asked for some sort of statement/proof of this debt and when it is from, and heard nothing back. I have emailed them three times now over the past 3 months as the live chat conversation was ended their end - but they aren't responding.
How can I go about pushing for a response, as this is really starting to bug me!
Any advice welcomed!

They have likely decided to discontinue collection activity, so you may not hear from them again.
I wouldn`t push for a response, they will write if they have something to say, obtaining evidence of liability can take many months so just wait and see what transpires.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
