Free sheet music PLEASE??

Pretty, pretty, pretty plzplzplzplzplzplzplzplz can anyone give me a good website for getting free sheet music for the piano. Stuff like Kate Nash, Editors, James blunt or similar is what I'm looking for.

Free guitar tablature, (which is an alternative way of representing music in written form and, I think, much easier to read)

www.chordie.com has loads & loads & loads of free guitar tabs, searchable by artist or song title. The site also has some really useful tools like chord diagrams etc. Tremendous site. There are other sites that claim a similar service but contain loads of annoying pop-ups & blind links.

The Foo Fighters own web site also has a free tablature section listing all their material. If you check out the authors of the tabs I suspect some of the band have even contributed which is a really refreshing attitude.

www.egoiste.co.uk contains a large number of James guitar tabs and all you have to do is register your details.

It is based on users swapping music amongst themselves - hence the bigger and more varied the collection you have, the more people are willing to trade with you. You'll be amazed what you can find.

I started off on this forum by explaining that i was a new member and begging what i could to get a collection started - and most members were very supportive and friendly.

There are also yahoo! groups who specialize in sheet music; Piano Files and Sheetmusicforpiano being a couple of collections. Fan pages for certain artists will also offer sheet music

If anyone wants classical music then http://www.pianosociety.com is brilliant - they have free, legal MP3s of out-of-copyright material as well as sheet music, by composers such as Mozart, Grieg, Tchaikovsky and Ravel.
