Sorry for the stupid question but can't seem to find the answer elsewhere. Octopus say they can now pay for our export on our recently installed panels. Is this my export meter  saying 607.35KwH?  What is the thing on the right of it please?

I can only guess but the meter reading 607.35 kWh is probably measuring generation (I can't see the decimal point in your picture but I presume it's where you say it is) and the meter to the right of it will be measuring the instantaneous solar power.  If you have a Smart Meter it should be capable of measuring export.

Ah, so I need to be looking at my smart meter then. Will go and push some buttons and see what I can find.

The meter to the right is not showing units of electricity but rather power (kW). This then is likely to be the current generation rate at the time you took the picture.  Depending on how 'recent' your install was then the left meter does look to be showing total generation to date.  You may be able to check this if there is an online dashboard for your system or by looking at generation estimates for your size of system and location using PVGIS (google this!). June was a better than average month for most and July far worse!

After a lot of mucking about I was eventually able to find the export reading on the smart meter. I had called Octopus in the mean time and they were able to see it themselves anyway. We've exported £45 of electricity we won't get paid for, but I did at least limit the loss by using the immersion to heat the water where possible. Back to gas heating that now and exporting the excess.
