Auto Fill - causes issues on some websites

I have Safari, and it has an auto-fill feature for my name and address. I noticed that this seems to cause a problem with some entries. For example, if I try to use it for the Hobgoblin Beer daily draw, it won't accept the entry. I have to type them manually. I thought this was a one-off glitch, but it is the same on the Like Wow comps. Does the site know when it receives your auto details that they were auto-filled? When comps state in terms and conditions that they will reject block entries, is that what they mean? Or am I overthinking it?

I use auto fill with Chrome and don't have issues on either sites.

That's interesting - perhaps I need to try a different browser and see how I get on.

Sometimes I see autofilled entries highlighted and cannot proceed to thenext section,  I delete and retype the last character in each field to make the site happy.
