Halifax Mortgage Offer advice

Hi there, bit of a strange one. We had a mortgage offer on a house we were buying which then fell through. So we offered on another house which was a lot more expensive. We had to start the application process again as Halifax don’t transfer their products to a new property. This application was referred to an underwriter and we’re still awaiting a decision. Not sure if that because we’re borrowing more? Quite worried and anxious. However in the meantime the original property we were buying has become available again - can I still use our original mortgage offer?! It’s still on our tracker. We haven’t moved home in 15 years and I’m very naive in all this.
Any advice much appreciated.

If you want to hop back to the original property that is fairly simple. Speak to your Broker (if you are using one), if not speak to Halifax.

I agree with AMN. I don't know how the product selection will play out as I've never tried to do this.

I don't know why you would have to submit a new application as changing property and product is a fairly simple process in the Halifax system.
