Pension Recycling

I have taken out £6k tax free lump sum from my SIPP annually (on a drawdown of £24k) for a few years which means I put more of my salary into my workplace pension. Age 60, with no dependents, I live on £17.5k pa, and at 62 I plan to retire taking out £12.5k from my pension (no tax) + £5k from my savings (most of it from the tax free money). As this falls below the £7.5k threshold for recycling, this seems like a no brainer but would be interested to see what others think.
