Self Build Mortgage / Finance advice

Hi, We are about to start a barn conversion, on land we own (20ac), and have been struggling with the finance. We originally approached Buildstore to arrange the finance. However, their lenders would not lend as the size of the property is too big for their traditional self build plot criteria. As it has land it is deemed too large, for it to be a self build plot.
We have approached Ecology and are currently working through their criteria, but with no promise of a finance offer as of yet. I just wondered if anyone knew of other lenders who lend on landed property for self build? We're looking for around £100k. Or if anyone knew of other types of finance available? We have approached the Agricultural Mortgage Corporation, but as the property is equestrian, it is outside their lending criteria.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

We used Saffron BS for our self build mortgage which worked out well for us. Buildstore at the time insisted we had to remortgage with them when build was complete which we didn't want. We also looked at Ecology who seemed pretty good too.1
