Aegon Master Trust - problems with range change

Options

On 10 May 2023 Aegon sent a letter advising the funds in Master Trust were being changed and we needed to make investment choices by filling in a form by 11 July. It was quite ambiguous I think. On 12 July a letter arrived which clarified ('reminded' us) of what it meant but didn't say.Too late therefore to change I thought.

I know MSE readers check these things but if you don't, please do check that your instructions have been carried out as you intended. My fund allocation bears no relation to those on my form. I wanted 60% to fund x and it was put in fund y for example (human error I think). This is in addition to the choices made in response to the May  letter being those I wouldnt have made if I had interpreted the letter in the 'correct' way.

I'm getting this put right and so far Aegon have been helpful but it has taken a good deal of my time to sort out, and because of market movements if I will be out of pocket unless things are put back to where they should have been.

Not sure what point you're making?

If the mistake was entirely down to Aegon, then you are entitled to be put in the better of the position you would have been in had the  mistake not taken place, or the position as it now stands.
