It's a very grey and drizzly morning, not much different in the forecast. I'm still in bed watching the swallows feast from my walls. My fridge is now restocked, I did a very quick raid at M&S where I bought some different foods. I just fancied pizza which I haven't had for years. Later on I had a lovely chat with my SIL in QLD and even later brought out the lawn mower to cut the grass in the back garden. I even took the cuttings to the tip. I like a neat lawn though I didn't edge it. 😀
Unfortunately I over ate yesterday, and not even on the pizza, a much regretted binge. Back to restraint today, the pizza is a small one! First thing I'm off to the pool for aquacycling. The mobility exercises I mentioned yesterday are all various stretches moving the spine up, down and side to side. I didn't do them yesterday as I was feeling the effects from the first time, a good indicator that they need doing. We're missing a few people who are on holiday, I hope that those of us still at home are doing well. Happy Saturday to all.11 -
Good morning, thanks for startng Gers,It's a miserable morning here as well. The sun actually shone for a bit yesterday afternoon, amazing. Not a lot going on here, yesterday I sorted through some cupboards so there's a bag for the charity shop, I'll take that.I'll just bumble round the house probably, Dh will be at his hobby club this morning.Hope our holiday makers are enjoying themselves, have a good day folks.12

Morning folks and thanks GERS. Another drab looking day but it seems the promised storms for us have veered off elsewhere. Yesterday's forecast was wrong too. It said heavy rain and thunderstorms for the afternoon so I set off into town in my rain jacket and the sun came out, leaving me smothered! Can't win!
So no early trip into town this morning due to going down yesterday instead. I got all I needed, and more! I have been eyeing up a light casual jacket all summer but told myself I didn't need it. Then yesterday as I passed the said jacket was in the window in the half price sale. I went in expecting only tiny or big sizes left as usual but no there was one just my size. After dithering over it all summer it's finally mine!
Housebound now today, until tonight. When we go to watch the 2 DGDs performing in Swan Lake. (Tissues will be at the ready) They have been at summer school all week so they should all be foot perfect.
A few neglected jobs may get done in the meantime. I left a tub of ham stock defrosting o/n so first job is to make a big pot of ham and lentil soup to keep me going in lunches for the coming days.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for all in need. I've lost track of who is on holiday but I hope they are having fun. Take care all be safe xx

Morning,
It must be about a month since I last posted, I hope all are keeping well as I have not had opportunity to check in here.
Life has been chaotic with elderly parent health issues and trying to organise next stage care, plus we are having our sitting room decorated, white to white! It does look fresher though.
I am looking forward to getting back to a degree of normality and being able to potter about at home.
Today my plan is to menu plan before finalising my online grocery shop.
Take care

Morning all. Rainy here in Kent at the moment.
spent yesterday day arranging property viewings for Wiltshire. We’re going down for a couple of days to scope out a couple of different areas, but still have our preferred location. Thought we should do a comparison. The ‘want’ list is slowly refining.....
Take care all, keep dry!Carolbee12 -

Thanks for putting us back into August Gers 😁
I've had a few busy days this week - reflexology, a call with my IFA, a bidet call with Occupational Health and 2 separate catch-ups with friends. Occy Health have decreed that I need a further 2 months time off and then a 4-week phased return, so I am tobe a fatigued lady of leisure until the end of September.
Nothing planned for today except to decide between moussaka or lasagne for tea - both from the freezer.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Morning all, we had a dry day yesterday but now we're back to rain again, I'm getting really giddy on this weather roundabout ! I didn't get on here yesterday as we decided to tackle cleaning the patio and back paths which took all day. I can't remember when it was last done, shame on me, but it turned out well and I needed a pair of sunglasses at the end, it was gleaming. I had to put all our clothes straight in the wm as they were filthy and then I jumped straight in the bath for a long soak. Afterwards I redressed my poorly foot and it's still a bit sore. I dealt with another Dad emergency too but it was an easy fix over the phone.
My shoulder and neck are a stiff this morning and there are plenty of indoor jobs awaiting attention if I want something to do. Tea tonight will be some of the gammon I cooked yesterday with cheesey mash or jacket spuds.
Take care all
