Estimated income

Good afternoon all,
When estimating my income on the self assessment portal do i include my FULL Gross Salary before or after my pension? for example, my monthly Gross Salary is £6k and after pension is £5400. Which one should i include? My brain is telling me to put the figure after tax is deducted otherwise ill be paying tax on my full salary
Thanks in advance

    Are you employed?
If so, you shouldn't be estimating anything. You use the numbers from your P60.

You need to know which method was being used to get the money into your pension,

    Net pay
    Relief at source
    Salary sacrifice

But why aren't you just (as far as the income is concerned) reporting the correct figure as per your P60??
