  • I think it really depends on when your local store normally makes the reductions. I'm working in the city tomorrow and they normally do their reductions at lunch time so will be popping in around two to see what I can pick up!

    last year in Asda it had pretty much all gone by 2pm, so may be worth going earlier.
    Yesterday in Waitrose at 2pm they hadn't reduced anything so it had either all gone or would be going today (lots of meat dated 25th Dec). Sadly I am working so cant go today.

    Best get going now.........I have been this am to tescos and most fresh items are greatly reduced already. by lunch time it'll be bear in there.

    I'm off to asda later today with my mum (once she finishes work) to get the christmas dinner in. HA! We'll be lucky :rotfl: Mind you, last year I was in asda on christmas eve pretty much untill closing time and snagged myself four full rainbow trout for 1p, some salmon fillets for 1p and a whole salmon for £1. As much as I 'kinda' enjoy being thrifty, I wish I wasn't dependant on being so.

    Dear santa, this christmas I'd like a job please.:(
