If a new tenant is on universal credit and getting housing benefit do they need to pay a month in advance plus a deposit .
What happens at the end of the tenancy if UC is paid in arrears . The agent will have 12 months rent from UC plus a month up front from tenant plus the deposit .

This may be too late a reply...any deposit & month in advance is a condition of the tenancy & independent of whether a tenant is receiving UC. At the end of the tenancy UC will continue to be paid until there is a change of housing costs reported to UC.0
