Paypal Credit Debt

Hi,
I have a Paypal credit account which has fallen into arrears over the past 6 months the total balance is £1294 (670 of this is made up of charges and interest). At the moment I can only afford to make payments of potentially £50 per month but I cannot seem to speak to the correct person to ask about this. Every month they send me a default notice but continue to add charges and interest and now this month it says my minimum payment is £670 this month.
Can I write to them or call and request that a repayment plan be set up?
Thanks in advance

It`s not a default notice, its a notice of "default sums in arrears" different animal altogether.
Very difficult to deal with an American company, with head offices in Europe, from the UK.
Best advice I can give you is to just hang tight, they will eventually pass your account to a UK debt collector to manage, normally Wescott or Akinika are the norm.
Payment on a monthly basis will be much easier through them, you can also dispute the charges.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Just an update my wife has a PayPal account and has been informed that from Nov 23 they are moving all UK accounts from Europe to a UK PayPal service which will then be regulated under the fca, reason due to BrexitI have Dyslexia which is a learning difficulty that primarily affects the skills involved in accurate and fluent word reading and spelling so some post may not make sense.0
