    If you're self-funding you are eligible for Attendance Allowance.

    You contact Social Services when you have reached £23k level plus 3 months care home fees.  That gives them time to sort themselves out to pick up the payments

    Thanks.  This has been in place for a couple of years already.  Should we have this updated now she will be in care?  Will this change the payment amount?
