Tigo Optimisers?

Options
I've currently got solar panels facing west, and I've got planning permission to put solar panels on my flat roof where they could forcibly face south  (ish)

Would it be a good idea to get Tigo optimisers given there's two different orientations? Equally, does anyone know of a decent installer in the north west that would be able to add these Tigo optimisers on should they be useful?

  • FWIW, the optimisers are a decent price from Solar Trade at present - £34.20 incl. - https://www.solartradesales.co.uk/tigo-ts4-o-optimiser-add-on/retrofit

I'm currently messing around with them on what will be a new install in the future and they work reasonably well for mixed orientations and mixed spec. panels (within 25% of each other).

If you have no inherent shading issues, then making use of different inverters/strings might be more effective ?
Central Beds, 2.02kWp (9 x 225W) south facing with some morning shade, installed 2011 (£7.16/Wp). Tigo monitoring/optimisers on all panels, Growatt MIC 2000 TL-X Inverter and Solar iBoost installed 2022.
