Enhanced DBS

Hello fellow experts,
Quick question, the wife is going through enhanced dbs process to go back into nursing. We've changed address once in the past 5 years, no criminal activity etc. DBS received the form on 30/7 and its still stuck on stage 2. Seems a long time. What are others experiences of this? Think we're being impatient here but nevertheless keen to hear others experiences, albeit recent ones. Her previous one 4 years ago took 10 days in total!

It may depend on your police force: some are faster than others. I don't know what the different stages are, but 30th July is not very long ago, in anybody's book!

My brother-in-law and I had ours put through on the same day, his came back in four working days, mine took three weeks, no logic to it at all.0

I had an enhanced DBS recently. Took eight weeks in total! Was told there were widespread delays in my region (Bristol) but it came through in the end0
