If I buy something from the Netherlands and ship to Dublin, will I have to pay any customs charges?

Pmd the team to move to an actual board as it’s currently not posted on one x

No charges in this case unless you have purchased excise goods.

This transaction is a domestic EU transaction. You must declare your item to UK Customs if you bring this to mainland UK though.

  • When you declare to UK customs, what charges would one pay for say a Television costing around 2000 GBP?

The answer to this is not a simple one, but as a minimum will be 20% VAT.

You should be able to reclaim the EU VAT using tax free shopping via e-invoice.

From recent experience at the Poland/UK (airport) and Poland/Ukraine (road) border there is a 50/50 chance of this being successful.
