Re-mortgaging and House sale

Good Afternoon,

I have a joint mortgage on a fixed rate which comes to an end in October. We had sold our house and everything was timed well to coincide with current fixed rate end, until our sale fell through.

We are still selling the house, but this will now fall after the end of our fixed term mortgage, so what is the best type of mortgage to move onto whilst we wait for the house sale?

I forgot to add, we will be taking separate mortgages after the house sale, so need one that allows us to repay early with no penalty.

Exactly, so check the products your current lender is offering for something like a Tracker that has no ERC.

You should be able to see what is available now, and get something locked in ready for October...

With most lenders you can do all this online...
