As usual job agencies send me roles every now and then and sometimes I have a look, most the time I just reply thanks but no thanks etc.
Had a look at one that was sent yesterday and listed under "Employee Benefits" was:
It seems they aren't alone though and many companies give the statutory minimum holidays or SSP etc and yet claim its a perk of being their employee... what's the worst thing you've seen claimed to be a benefit of being their employee?

Thats a new one, i havent seen one as bad as that, things like buy time holiday i roll my eyes at, arguably the flexibility is there but youre still buying it.

We offered a pension plan! Now, when employer would match employee contributions above the minimum, up to a generous (!) 1% above the employer minimum, there was perhaps something to say. But when legal minimum increased on both sides that was it: we offered a pension plan into which the employer would pay the legal minimum.
