Best crossword advice

I had an email stating I won £100 on Best crossword a couple of weeks ago. I replied with my mobile number to a woman named Louise as instructed, the same day I got the email. A couple of other winners had the same issue in that she did not reply. I then emailed the generic prize address they had given me, still no response. I raised a query through the form on their website, and someone did come back to me but it is pretty clear that most of my emails are not being received by Hearst, and some of their emails are not being received by me.

i only have the contact details of one person who has replied, and he said a week ago that I would hear from someone from the correct team, but no comms have come through.

I’m pretty gutted as £100 is a lot but I feel bad chasing the guy who seems to get my emails. Would you keep chasing it up? I only have one email address (a yahoo one) and even if I did email Louise from another account it’s not the email I registered for the comp with.

Is this the email you have? I also won at the same time as you and never had a response to my reply, but when I mailed as a new email, she replied right away and I had the link to put payment details the next day and payment the day after that

Hi ally86 - I'm having the same problem with a Best comp win (only £50 for me). My email from louise.bulgin on 9th July asked for my mobile number. I replied immediately, and followed up with another reply to her and the prize.winners@  email address 3 days later. I've had no further contact from them.

Yesterday I tried addverbaan's suggestion of a direct email rather than a reply, but I've had no response yet.

Please can you post on here if you ever get any response, and if so, how you contacted them, I'll also post here if I get a response.

@ebc I did get a response from Louise when I started a new email to her, she came back to say my number had been received and I would get an email in 7-10 working days. That was 2 days ago so fingers crossed!

I hope you get a response to your direct email soon. Given how many of us have had issues, it looks like Hearst have some issues with their email system.
