Online job where I make the hours

Tenth Anniversary First Post Combo Breaker
Hi. I’m looking to earn a bit of extra money online by doing things like micro tasks (I think that’s what they’re called.) I’m fully aware that these aren’t the best paying jobs, but I want something where I can log on whenever I want, pick a task, and complete it.

I’ve done some online research and have found transcription jobs, but the only site that seems to have jobs is I have applied for them, but there’s currently a 4-12 week wait to get on. In the mean time I was just wondering if anyone knew of any other sites that offer this kind of work. Not necessarily transcription, but individual tasks.

I did read the blog post on the main site, and found lionbridge and clickworker. Lionbridge didn’t have any jobs suitable for me, and I still need to look at clickworker. Has anyone used clickworker before?

Any help would be appreciated.

I used to use Clickworker, many many years ago (like, early 2010s). It was very good for a while but whenever I've logged back on it's been very sparse jobs, and a lot of them requiring a European language rather than in English unfortunately making it an nonviable revenue stream.

Clickworker is pretty dead itself, and the last time I checked (earlier this year) it's mandatory to sign in with their mobile app even if you only ever use the website on a computer. I think the majority of their work is through a separate thing they have, can't remember the name but it's like an MTurk thing with micro-tasks that pay pennies per little task but there might be hundreds of them per job so it adds up, and you have to stay above a certain level of accuracy to continue access. That might be what you're looking for, although I believe you have to sign-in pretty regularly to that part of the website to keep access to it (otherwise you'll have to re-request access.)

The main site itself just tends to have "take videos of yourself pulling faces or saying certain words" type jobs if you're ok with that.
