ACI wont accept less than £10pm

Hi all. I need some advice please. I approached ACI asking to set up a repayment plan but it seems they will accept no less than £10 per month.
I was hoping to set up a token payment plan for starters of only 1or £ 2 by Standing order so I can increase payments once every creditor is set up. The other creditor has accepted the £1 repayment pm offer.
ACI do seem to be particularly difficult to deal with.
Is there any advice on the approach. How I can get them to accept my token payment without the threat of further action.
Thank you

Send a copy of your budget, and your token offer in writing, tell them that is what they will be getting.
Then just pay the £1 or whatever it is, don`t go looking for their approval.
They won`t take you to court as a court won`t let you pay more than is affordable.
If they don`t like it, they will either sell the debt again, or pass it to another collector to chase.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
