Aside from that, can you work out if there was a 6 year period between either, the date of default/date of last payment, and any written acknowledgement sent by you to ACI, if you stopped paying in 2017, and haven`t acknowledged it till 2023, its likely you may have a statute barred defence here, but the dates may be crucial.

A default notice is a one shot deal, there won`t be any copies, there should be a record of payments/assignments etc, but don`t do anything yet.
