  • I had an email off them last week to say they had too many panelists and therefore had decided to close accounts. Mine was one of them so I'm going to take a guess it will be a long wait

  • Have you tried Storerewards?

I am a member of both but I stopped using Shoppix in favour of Storewards when I found Shoppix to be slow to reach cashout and receipt rejections were getting increasingly frequent.

Why would you stop using one in favour of other. Just use both.

Storewards is marginally quicker to cash out, but at least with shoppix you can appeal the rejections & they can add points manually for errors (when they eventually respond which can be months later). Storewards just don't want to know & just say tough it's automated, and you can't have the points that you were robbed of.

I have more rejections with Storewards than Shoppix, which adds to the frustration with them

I did use both at first, but as Shoppix started to deteriorate my frustration started to outweigh the reward.

I agree that appealing the receipt rejection is a good thing but my experience was of the appeal being rejected more and more frequently. The receipts were clear and from shops that had previously been accepted. It started to feel like they were farming data and not crediting on purpose.

I think we're all aware that we get a tiny share of the money made from our data. So when I start to feel I'm being cheated out of even that tiny percentage that's usually when I leave.

Your experience with Storewards seems much worse than mine. But I limit the receipts I send to those I know will work. If there's no obvious reason for the failure I've found that once rejected it can be worth submitting a new image later, the day after or over a different connection (wifi or data).

You're absolutely right that they should both be used. It is low effort and despite being robbed occasionally I've never had either not actually pay out eventually. But unfortunately I have a very low tolerance of these organisations not playing fair and for the sake of my temper I'd rather ditch an app and leave a scathing review than have the ongoing frustration  :)
