Dentist conversation - reasonable?

    I had mine out. One at the dentist and they didn't have the wonderful new tool they have now and 3 in hospital which they did routinely in the past. That was normal.
    No problem with them after.

    It is surprising how long  good filling can last. 
    If it is heavily filled it's best to leave it or remove as trying to get a filling out of a fragile tooth is unlikely to be sucessful.

    As said, you won't miss it. 
    Hope you get another dentist that inspires more confidence. Always tough when trying to establish an understanding. I have the opposite with a new trainee doctor. Does everything by the book, can't fault her but a tactful approach or bedside manner isn't in her remit.
