This is rather cheap considering they offer a 50% discount if you order a year ahead, but what protection do you get if they go bust before then? Chargebacks are surely only valid for a finite amount of time?

Maximum time for a chargeback is 540 days from debit date, for future dated products.
Pay 1p on credit card & you have possible S75 cover 6 years as a rule.
