Old Argos catalogue anyone?

Hi,
Does anyone have an old Argos catalogue covering August 2006.?
My father bought a digital camera, a Panasonic DMC-LZ3 for £179.99 in August 2006. He seems to think it was listed as having a LEICA lens. The camera on closer inspection does not. Just wondered if my father was duped in the first place by a misleading description.
If anyone could help, i would be most grateful.
Thanks
Jim

There is a dedicated Argos board, you may get a better response posting in there.
Good luck with your search.0 -

Found it for you. It was marked "New" in the Autumn/Winter 2006 catalogue.
I don't know what an LEICA lens isbut it doesn't mention one.
Thank you for making me realise I need a really good clearout of my house over the Christmas break!
Edit: just noticed that 3 other cameras on the same page say LEICA DC Lens but the DMC-LZ3 doesn't."Life is like a game of cards. Lecia are a highly rated brand of cameras. Their lenses are very good quality. All new Panny Lumix's have them thats one of the reasons why they produce good pictures. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leica
Well, actually that's not true, which is the point of this post. The LZ cameras DON'T have a Leica lens but the rest of them do, so grouping them all together on the same page is kind of misleading0 -
Where do I find the dedicated Argos forum??0

Thanks Dee,
Know it's cheeky but don't suppose you have a scanner and could copy me the page could you??0 -

I'm afraid I don't have a scanner. I might, when i have more time, be able to take a digi picture and send you a copy.
Just to answer your point, though, all the Panasonic cameras are grouped together on one page (although there one much higher spec one on the next page) so they are there because of make, not the lens.
Out of 5 cameras on that page, 3 have a LEICA lens and 2 do not. The ones that do have a big bright orange icon next to them clearly saying LEICA. It's not like it's hidden in the text or anything, nor is it on the page header.
Sorry but I think you'll have trouble arguing your case."Life is like a game of cards. Thanks Dee,
you are probably right. My dad is in his 70s and he's probably just got confused over the listing. Don't you think the big 'L' sticker on the camera is kind of misleading as well, could stand for Lumix or Leica.

OLD ARGOS CATALOGUE INFO required on Danubio Sofas in the 2006-2007 winter catalogue
Hi ,
I purchased two brown Danubio Sofas One Three seater and One two seater from the Argos Winter 2006 -2007 catalogue can you please look up the item numbers and the price of them please ?
I took delivery of them in march 2007 and I have been one of many that has had a rash as a result of sitting on them.
I do not have a receipt and paid cash for them although argos have given me my order number.
I hope you can help
Cheers
Chris0
