Our current tv is quite old so it doesn’t have freeview or any smart features. It also has really bad screen burn.
we use Disney, iPlayer, Netflix, itvx, and want freeview.
Already have a soundbar so not to bothered by sound quality.
ideally under £300 and love a good deal!

Saw a great deal on Argos but tv itself was white and husband wasn’t keen.

I remembered a radio we had years back that was white and it looked quite grubby very quickly so maybe going for one with a black frame would be a good choice. I'm assuming the one you were looking at was the LG one for £249. When I look on Argos I see there's also a Hisense one - slightly different than ours (which is a bit bigger) but it works really well. So well in fact that having got one for MiL we then bought another for ourselves.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. The Hisense 43ins 4K models sold at Currys and Argos seem to be around £250. I had looked at the reviews of these on Youtube and while they are not up there with the LGs in terms of picture quality they are still very good. They come with apps preinstalled but I think the only way to add more might be with a USB stick of some sort.
