Lowell and pre-paid cards for payments

I've been using a pre-paid Mastercard for well over a year now to pay off my default with Lowell (gets me a few Avios for my British Airways account as a bonus). Top it up by say £25, and the payment goes through without an issue.
Just tried to do the same for this month's payment and the card is being refused at what seems to be their end (nothing coming up on the card app saying that payments have been declined). Used the card earlier, so no issues there.
Have Lowell stopped taking payments with these sort of cards?
