Hi there,

Ok.  I have applied for UC for my daughter (I am her appointee).  We have had the appointment where she has to confirm her identity, but tomorrow's appointment is the one where we agree to the commitments etc - which I have to attend as well.

We have been told after that she probably won't need to attend the Jobcentre again, it will be done online or by phone. She will be looking for jobs. 

My question is about holidays - she is coming away with us in October.  The holiday was booked more than 12 months ago.  I do want to be honest obviously and tell them but which is the right thing to do?  Will I be shooting myself in the foot by telling them?

Please be kind with comments - when we booked the holiday, we didn't know she was going to be claiming for UC.

The holiday is 5 nights. Yes, we will be in Benidorm, so yes, we will have internet access. 

I will repost on the Benefits board. With this new awful design, I forgot about that section.
